I dunno how to start this. I have so many things to say… Will try to summarize.
The first 3 episodes of the season 6 already made me feel way too many things. The first episode was a great introduction, the second was badass… and this third one….
Rick :
Omg… Once again, Adrew’s acting was on point. This scene in the camping-car after he found baby food. This is when you realize the wall around him is not that thick. Rick’s character development is to me one of the most significant in the series. He became dangerous, yes, but only because he had to. Which makes me crazy about Alexandria’s people is that they judge him without having any clue of what is really happening outside.
Btw, his hand is infected right? He ll have to cut it, right? It would join the Comic then… But I dont want it to be the case…
Michonne :
Dear lord I was so happy when she took Rick’s side. I am so tired of those criticizing Rick and his methods. She explained it all, no need further information. She was amazing all along.
Glenn :
Of course he is the main point of this episode…. I admit : I am still in denial. I wanna believe that his death is fake. I will not give the different points leading me to this, as many already did.
Glenn is an amazing character. He never kills people, he saves people (I hope that when Maggie said that, it was not foreshadowing this week’s episode…). To me, everything started thanks to him: he is the ancor of the group. He put them all together. Rick, Daryl, Maggie… would not be who they are now without him. He is such an important character in this show that if his death is real I would be so pissed. He did not deserve to die that way. However the parallel of this scene with the pilot where Rick is in the tank is quite amazing in my opinion. It is so well done.
If I forget the fact that this f***** Nicholas got him killed (if dead, of course), this scene was quite beautiful in a certain way. It all made sense for Glenn. He SAVES people. And not only by saving their lives, but sometimes also helping them find peace. I think this is what happened with Nicholas. He was too weak for this world and forgot his reason of surviving. He just was scared. But Glenn helped him finding his inner peace.
I love you so much to Rick and my happiness is to see him happy .Rick has true feelings for Jessie , and it shows every time he looks at her, his tender eyes , his eagerness to touch her and his smile is that of a man in love , even Carol realized this and made Rick realized their Jessie feelings .No doubt that they will begin a relationship in the sixth season and that is something real , not just a FANFICTION .
You know, Alex Breckenridge, who is a brilliant actor, who’s joined us so seamlessly this season, we spoke about that a lot, about it not being just the smoldering looks and impulses… it was much more. [Rick and Jessie] are both damaged goods who somehow surprise each other with intimacy with each other. And I think she’s an incredibly subtle and true actress, and I love working with her. I think… if you put Rick on a lie detector test and said, “Do you have feelings for Jessie?” I don’t think he’d even know. I think he actually would be adamant and just like, “No.”
But I certainly think there are moments in their history where something is ignited. Certainly she’s the first person that makes Alexandria a viable place for him. She explains it to him. She says, “You know, we’ve all lost things, and this is… look at the future. You know, there was so much bulls—t in the past, and look at it now. People that would never be talking to one another, they’re talking to each other now.” So she opens up a kind of, you know, a side to him that he hasn’t accessed for two years. It’s a man attempting to feel again. And I think all of the characters are doing that. They’re all trying it out in their own broken ways, to see if they can be human.
Rick Grimes portrayer Andy Lincoln talks to Yahoo TV about the finale, the season he calls one of his favorites, the gross zombie melt that smacked him in the face, the memorable Rick Grimes finale line he was thrilled to utter, and his thoughts on whether or not Mr. Grimes is ready to loosen the reins of the Ricktatorship long enough to get his swerve on with the ladies.
